Resumen

¿Sufre de dolor lumbar recurrente? Si es así, no está solo. Aproximadamente el 70 % de las personas que se recuperan de un episodio de dolor lumbar experimentarán otro episodio al año siguiente.

La naturaleza recurrente del dolor lumbar es un factor importante que contribuye a la enorme carga que este tipo de dolor supone para las personas y el sistema sanitario.

En un estudio reciente publicado en The Lancet, descubrimos que un programa que combina caminatas y educación puede reducir eficazmente la recurrencia del dolor lumbar.
