Se conoce poco sobre el contexto, los factores correlacionados y el contenido de las recomendaciones de los profesionales de la salud sobre actividad física (AF) para adultos con artritis. Analizamos datos del estudio transversal Porter Novelli FallStyles, realizado con adultos no institucionalizados en EE. UU. En adultos con artritis, evaluamos la puntualidad de las recomendaciones de AF proporcionadas por los profesionales de la salud; el contenido de estas recomendaciones, incluyendo la evaluación/cribado y el asesoramiento sobre AF; y las recomendaciones. Los datos se ponderaron por sexo, edad, ingresos familiares, raza y etnia, tamaño de la familia, educación, área censal y ubicación metropolitana.
